Les Filles Du Surf sont nées en 2019, alors que Jeanne, graphiste et illustratrice de 28 ans, travaille pour un magazine de surf féminin. Elle se fait la remarque que les filles mises en avant dans la presse féminine globale, mais aussi dans celle du surf, véhiculent majoritairement le cliché de la surfeuse mince et élancée, sans aucune imperfection.

Pourquoi ne pas essayer de créer une nouvelle image de femmes naturelles et décomplexées dont les courbes leur parlent plus exactement ?
